To live life to the full & experience *everything* (except incest & folk-dancing. Everyone has to draw the line somewhere.)
PHILOSOPHY
I'm working on this one. I think CS might help me find it :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I ended up couchsurfing in Canada by accident when I got fired from a job I hated (which involved selling tourists crap no-one could ever need). Got a new job but no accommodation, but someone I'd met was kind enough to put me up indefinitely! Some people are just *fab* :-)
Interessi
Anything and everything from the ordinary to the esoteric. I enjoy reading, swimming, socialising, movie-watching, gardening, yoga, reading, learning, cycling, yoga, deep, meaningful conversations with open-minded freethinkers, reading, new experiences, travelling (obviously), lazing on the beach, dancing manically in a club, spending time with my dogs, meeting interesting people... oh, I could go on forever!

Musica, film e libri
*Love* going to the movies; read avidly just about anything I can get my hands on (as long as it's well-written). Particular interest in the second World War, and psychology-type true crime or gender identity stuff, among other things :-) I'm currently reading "The Rape of Nanking", "Public Sex", and "The Red Tent".
One of my favorite movies is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - I love anything that makes me think. Really liked Million Dollar Baby. I like British-made films, and foreign films, which are interesting on many different levels. However, I'm also a sucker for anything with Angelina Jolie, Denzel Washington, Hilary Swank, or Jodie Foster in it ;-)
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
I think I need to update this now, having been to China. While the Rockies in Canada were breathtaking, I think the most amazing man-made thing I've seen is the Great Wall. I stood there, absolutely gobsmacked that someone would even come up with the idea of building a huge structure on *top* of these hills/mountains that are hard to ascend even when you're not carrying anything! That they built so many miles of it at such altitude at such a time in history is absolutely staggering.
