About Me

ABOUT ME

I recently finished my BA in urban planning and sociology so I really like cities and the people in them and am looking forward to visiting some new places and getting to know familiar places better. I'm very easy going and am rarely bothered by anything. I can sleep incredibly well just about anywhere which makes me a good couchsurfer.

If you visit, please drink my beer! I work at a microbrewery and generally have a fridge overflowing with beer. It's getting to the point where we don't have enough room for food!

PHILOSOPHY

Fuck it Dude, let's go bowling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted more surfers than have hosted me but that is starting to change as I travel more! I love hosting people and showing them around the city and seeing it from their eyes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All good except for the one time where the people who were supposed to host me in Vermont were almost as disorganised as myself and disappeared leaving me to sleep on a bench. I suppose that and the craziness that ensued was more fun than sleeping in a bed so I guess all experiences have been positive!

Interests

Some things I like to occupy my time with are biking and building/fixing bikes, exploring boring places and looking for exciting things in them, cooking and eating delicious food, talking to people about where they're from (for me, finding out about where people are from/where they have lived says so much about people), eating pizza and poutines, riding and looking at trains, learning about languages, drinking local beers, figuring out accents, making to-do lists that are never followed, petting cats, dogs that make me laugh such as pugs, dachshunds, and pomeranians, etc.
