ABOUT ME

I'm the type that doesn't want to be a type.

I was born in China and moved to Switzerland, when I was four years old. When I was a child, I always knew I was "different" but at that time, "being different" wasn't something I enjoyed being.

I started to work as the Youth Representative of UNESCO in Switzerland, when I was 17. That was probably the time when my passion for other cultures & places really started to burn: I attended over 20 international conferences and got to work with so many fascinating young people from all over the world. Two years later, I became the Swiss UN Youth Delegate & had the chance to travel even more. So far, I have traveled 60+ countries and still have many more to go.

Traveling is my greatest passion, my favorite school and my only addiction.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered the Couchsurfing Project in 2007 - as I was planning my trip around the world - and was absolutely thrilled to join. I got to Miami and intended to stay for one week before heading off to other cities in Florida. I ended up staying 16 days due to the amazing people I've met on couchsurfing... and I've had the time of my life!

Ever since, I've met absolutely amazing couchsurfers from all over the world and hope to continue my couchsurfing journey in the years to come.
