ABOUT ME

CELINE: Discover a city walking, loosing myself by the street to finally discover a wonderful place, a market, a library or second hand book store; take my time during a coffee and a book or newspaper, sharing "une tranche de vie" with these people. Sometimes I also need to go out and get some fresh air, to look up and to daydream..... Chat with some person are really pleasant, unfortunately, I'm a little bit malcontent of my restrict language's knowledge but don't worry, as a "italian" person, I'm really able to speak with my hands and my face and to tell you so many things !
ROBIN: I wholeheartedly agree. Furthermore Céline's Italian and French are as good as my Dutch, English and German, so together we get by in making ourselves understandable to quite a number of people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CELINE: I lived for more than one year in Italy sharing an apartment with one italian, a german and a turkish person, it was fantastic. There were always one or two other persons from these contries or others, a real "auberge espagnole". Poussez la porte, vi sentirete a casa.......!
Travel doesn't mean for me to get there and to have seen these cities or these places, it's also mean meeting people and sharing some impressions, taking time to understand their way of life, their history and culture. "If we are always arriving and departing, it's also true that we are eternally anchored. One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things."
ROBIN: Got a taste for travelling after a similar stay in Ireland. We hope we've kept an open mind ever since, open to others, to possibilities, to the good stuff that life has to offer, for ourselves and others, helping each other out.

Interessen

Leggere, cantare, parlare italiano, respirare, nuotare, ascoltare la musica, suonarla ogni tanto, praticare il yoga e viaggiare ovviamente!Mi piace un sacco cucinare, perché il cibo ha proprio una connotazione sociale quindi organizare una cena mescolando amici, buon cibo e buon rosso si è sempre concluso da una bella serata!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

CELINE: Cinéma en tout genre, français, italien surtout et belge aussi parfois.
Musique en tout genre, ça dépend du jour et de l'humeur mais il faut de la musique partout tout le temps.
Livre en tout genre aussi, des romans français ou étrangers (italiens surtout......), des romans historiques, des récits de voyages mais aussi les BD (images et histoires, y'a rien de tel !!!!)
ROBIN: Plays, performances, concerts, and almost anything on a stage, really, immediately followed by extensive reviews in bars. Exhibitions, museums, reading, relaxing at home, unprepared travelling.
