About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being the happiest person I can be
ABOUT ME
I tend to be quite bubbly, chatty and impulsive, although I also enjoy just sitting amidst nature and letting it impress me. I lived in Spain for a year and decided that I really liked travelling. I quit my job as a journalist to go backpacking in Australia and New-Zealand for six months and had the time of my life! I love reading, film and theater, and tend to do things quite spontaneously. Now I am working as a copywriter in Gent, trying to make every weekend a mini-holiday!
I love to write and like to pauze at a sunny cafe every now and then and write down my impressions.
When travelling, I prefer a good mix of city-sightseeing with a cultural touch, and being in nature. I suppose I would get too tree-huggy if I didn't see any civilization for 3 weeks, so as I said a good mix would do! I don't like rushing myself to see all the sights, I mainly want to feel how it would be to be living there.
Some key words:
camping * books * Thai food * old wooden painting frames * sunsets in the field * sunrise on the beach * eggplants * red diaries * handwritten letters * teapots * cooking * word games *
PHILOSOPHY
The larger the island of knowledge, the longer the shoreline of wonder.

Teach, Learn, Share
I know my fair share of languages but am always eager to learn new ones (or at least bits!). When travelling in a country where I dont speak the language I like to memorize some basic vocabulary. It opens doors!
I make a great oatmeal-chocolate chip-raisin cookie, and I can give you hitchhiking tips if you're a newbie.
