ABOUT ME

Well, let's see, I am a positive person, a good listener and also story teller, very sensitive (too much I'm afraid), active and enthusiastic. Of course, I have a bunch of defects I try to improve, but am I supposed to put people off?!! I'm half caste (half English half French), lived in France since I was born, but consider myself more like a "child of the world". I love traveling, and worship "L'École de la vie" ("School of Life"), which is learning new things every day if possible!

PHILOSOPHY

Very positive, and in the same time, disgusted by a big part of humanity (you know: wars, racism, lack of tolerance or compassion, all that naughty stuff). I live for the good people always there, hidden in the mass, and who compensate for the lack of faith and consciousness of the others.

I am vegetarian since I was born, with a few exceptions like fishing in remote areas to survive. I think if people were as kind to animals as they were to their friends, all humanity in between would be also embraced in that kindness and the world would be at peace. Respecting all form of animal life is the first step to a better world. Plants, I guess, would come next. But I don't mind the majority eats meat, its something that takes a lot of thinking and effort to get into. Humanity is not ready yet, although things change little by little, the right way :-) .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been couchsurfing a lot, but without the use of any website: just meeting people on a trip, making friends, and enjoying their sofa, especially when I was a young backpacker on the road. I did all Cenral America like that. When I had my big appartement in Hangzhou, we always had a few people staying over, from eveywhere, and at anytime, and often for the time they wanted.

Interests

I love art and creation, dreaming, writing, dancing, hicking, spending many hours talking about life and philosohpy (with people I appreciate at least!). I like news experiences, and I really mean it, I went into many things for the try, and don't fear the unkown. That's why travelling makes me feel so accomplished, and why I get the blues easily when I stay at home for too long.

wow, many, from guerrillas' attack in Guatemala's jungle to swallows' ballet at dusk in Gascony's countryside... tell you more if I meet you ;-)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French, English, Spanish, Photography, Western culture, Chinese culture, vegetarian cooking, boxing, computer knowledge, backpacking tricks (loooooads !!).
