We are a francophone couple living in Montreal (Canada). We both studied in Fine Arts and we are very curious to learn about anything.

Amélie: I work as an editor for films and TV. I am a sociable, funny and sensitive girl who thinks a lot. Sometimes, I'd like to do everything at the same time, including resting! I like to discover things I wouldn't suspect, walk, contemplate the world around me, food, creativity, silence (and good music too!). I enjoy various sports (alpine skiing, alpine touring, cross-country skiing, bicycle, hiking, swimming).

Raphaël: I work as an executive in a post-production service house in Montreal. When I'm not working on the renovations of our duplex, I like reflecting on various things. I enjoy learning much of anything to get a better glimps of the complexity of our world. I can't get enough of cinema music and litterature and of course, would like to travel a bit more whenever I can. I believe hosting is also a bit like travelling, but at home !

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We don't hesitate to recommand CouchSurfing to people or to talk about the virtue of this innovative project. It is not surprising that we have succeeded to make some new initiates! It just feels great to host. It gives the spontaneous feeling you are giving and sharing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During summer 2007, we had a trip for a month in France and Belgium. We couchsurfed with a lot of awesome people from different regions. It was an outstanding experience! Now, we have to give back this incredible generosity to people who wants to have a trip in Montréal! We have received some couch surfers in our home, and had a lot of fun.

Wandering around in the Alps in France was one of the most enjoyable moment in our lifetime (for now). We hope to have the chance to see other such beauties because it makes us feel so good.
