Silly, serious. Inclined to discuss the nature of existence as we know it. Stubborn, shy, forgetful, sometimes too trusting, sometimes too suspicious.

I am studying rhesus macaque behavior in captivity and in the wild with the goal of improving captive management practices.

PHILOSOPHY

Only this moment brings us together. Don't linger in the past, and try not to live for the future.

Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet many astonishingly kind, interesting people.

Interests

I enjoy: cheese, contemplating the nature of the universe, one dollar poker, dogs, chickens, talking about subjects of particular interest (monkeys, gardening, nerdy books and TV shows), reading, moscow mules, cheesy action & sci fi movies, sushi, making the best soft tacos ever (yes i do want to have a taco contest with you), arguments that go on for way too long and end with consultation of a higher power (Wikipedia, usually).
i don't like: shopping, intrusive people, people without empathy for other creatures

movies: anything with Arnold in it. And there are lots of movies I like which are actually good.
