ABOUT ME
Hoping to host some people, stay with some people, travel, learn and have some fun along the way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been a member many years now, but only really started being active since 2011. I have hosted twice, which I'd like to do more of in the future, and met other local CSers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was in 2005, when my friend Iain and I went climbing in Switzerland, and stayed with a Couch Surfer in Geneva. It was all organised by Iain who is a member. It was all very positive and I vowed to register because the ethos of CS seemed so good, and I had directly benefited from it.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have too many guidebooks, collecting them seems to be turning into a hobby! I have recently discovered spotify, so have music playing lots.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lots I guess. I've been to the jungle, watched the sunrise over the sea, and watched it set again over the mountains, I've biviouaced on a glacier, felt the wind in my hair, and swum in the sea, I've danced all night, warmed myself in front of an open fire, and spent all day in my pjs with a DVD and an endless supply of tea and biscuits!
I guess I've been lucky really, but there's so much stuff to do in life!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love the opportunity to learn some foreign languages, in particular French.
