CURRENT MISSION

Sailed on a yacht from Cape Town to the Caribbean, now after some travelling of Venezuela, I am teaching English in Colombia, Next stop BRASIL

ABOUT ME

So I am a person who is travelling, and the will to travel and experience new places, people and cultures has sorta taken over my life! I really enjoy going to a new place, making friends from all over the world and of course drinking beer:) In my current mission which is to head to Brazil for the FIFA World Cup, I left South Africa on a yacht with a mate without much of a plan besides needing to stick around until after July 2014. When I arrived in the Caribbean I decided to check out Venezuela as I had never been there! After couchsurfing and travelling for a few months I made some incredible friends and had a great time, then I made my way to Medellin in Colombia, where I have settled and started teaching English. Absolutely loving life! So ja, as a proud South African, I am keen to experience new places and share a bit about my own culture too! Right now a friend and I are relocating from Colombia to Brazil, so its the F#%king World Cup and then gotta find a job hey :P

Met a few people in Cape Town, and stayed at some people's houses in Venezuela, hosted some rad people in Medellin!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in the UK, done a bit a europe, been around the states, lived and travelled south america, done a bit of africa, been to a couple countries in the middle east, at the moment in south america for the second time. the one thing that stands out the most was doing a trek through peru to get to machu pichu, it was mindblowing! as well as the put foot rally me and a couple mates did last year around southern africa (a social rally for charity, over 22 days we saw 9 countries, countless animals and a whole lot of beer)
