ABOUT ME

Oliver: Musicologist, musician, stay-at-home Dad, avid researcher of all things, loves to run in the rain, swim in lakes, pasta, coffee and his guitar.

Eva: German, Geography & Chinese (& other stuff) teacher, outdoor freak, adventurer, vegan baker and always learning something new, believes in magic and the holiness of the earth, loves to swim in the moonlight, ice cream, tea, urban gardening and her art supplies.

Eva & Oliver: A caring couple, crazy and adventurous, but surprisingly calm and laid back if you meet us. But really, we're up for almost anything!

Theo: Born in August 2013. Loves to move, talk, play and is always looking for something new to learn. He has a special interest in whales. He loves to meet new people from all around the world and bugs us with questions like "When can we go on a holiday to Greenland?

Wiebke: Very relaxed but resolute toddler girl, born in September 2017, loves to be outside, trains, books, the trampolin and warm weather.

We love the intercultural exchange, especially with other young families.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Eva started couchsurfing in 2007, hosted and surfed in both Asia and Europe. Oliver simply had no choice at all but to also get to love this life style - and of course it wasn't bad at all. And Theo and Wiebke were born into it..

Life never gets dull for us, we always find something new that we enjoy..

音乐、电影和书籍

Eva loves Anne of Green Gables :). Besides that she reads almost everything except for crime and thriller that you give to her.
Oliver right now wishes he was a comissar in the 50s because he enjoys to read Simenon.

We'll have to discuss the music section first. Eva loves the music Oliver makes. We both enjoy a variety of music from MUSE to classical choices.

We're both not very much into the cinema.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

We spend a midsummer night besides a campfire at the river Rhine just covered with one jacket and nothing else - since then we're always looking for that place again but it has magically disappeared :).
UPDATE: We found the place again on Theo's first month birthday and got engaged there. Then we had an amazing wedding put together just in 3 weeks. Then 6 years later we got our last name changed aka a second wedding with the same woman who married us 6 years to the date ago at a place where we don't live anymore.

Besides that: hitchhiking through the Himalayas on an iron track, counting rice in China, swimming in lakes and seas which were really cold, jumping around in front of Mt.Everest, climbing Mt. Kinabalu, Wales, ERASMUS, being an exchange student in Punta Arenas in 1999, the birth of our children, so many things...

Wiebke:
Teach: Determination, being relaxed and going on with your own timeframe
