HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to travel and meet people from other cultures, and to experience the culture at a local level, rather than the 5-star tourist level.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done couchsurfing on my eurail trip in 2008 and stayed with people in Budapest and Munich. I also stayed with the lovely CS Ambassador in Vancouver - yay Erin! I've done quite a bit of hostel stays, and what I call house-hopping when I visit friends in Manchester.

I play the piano (although not for a while as it doesn't fit in my backpack). I quite like classic fiction, or fiction novels based on historical fact.
