Sweet soul music, funk, '60's one-hit-wonders, reggae/dub, and constantly digging for new old awesome! I hosted and mixed a 30 hour podcast collection of tunes from '59-'68.

Iranian/German/French/Taiwanese cinema, Harlem renn. I am a nerd, really, I am. I have read more than 30 books this year (gotta finish 'em up before the world ends!), including and especially loving Céline, Waugh, Murakami, Pynchon, and Upton Sinclair. My favorite movies have been directed by Bergman, Tsai, Kiarostami, Ratanaruang, Rohmer, Rivette, Kieslowski, Bresson, Stillman, and too many more.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I'm the first person on the planet (that I know of, and yes, my project started before that Stride gum sponsored guy, and I didn't know of him til I finished) to shoot and broadcast a dance video every single day for a year (different song/location/all over the world) via YouTube. My account was suspended due to "copyright issues," even though every artist that contacted me was into it. I lost a lot of money and eventually ended up couch surfing without any choice, but that's how the world works. I'm back to fun time couch surfing, let's meet!

I once played guitar on stage with Damo Suzuki. Photo evidence will follow if requested.
