Left my London social media job in January, now looking for a new one in Sydney, Australia (to start in April) while travelling the world.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and take a look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In London I enjoyed meeting CSers at events and was up for showing people around London when I had the time (ie the Coffee/Drink thing, although I prefer the latter)

Also I sometimes organised events for London CS - 'pub 2 club' events (Ministry of Sound/Fabric), World Cup football events and a film location pub tour.

Now that I'm travelling, I'm surfing, meeting people for sightseeing and attending weekly meet ups when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my big trip back to the UK from Japan overland in 2007 I first discovered CS and surfed 2 couches in Russia and 1 in Estonia and had a right laugh. More recently I couch surfed in Belarus and Brazil.

In London it was difficult for me to host, so I couldn't host very often but still enjoyed hanging out with London CSers and meeting people for sightseeing/drinks.

So far on my 2013 world trip I've surfed in Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Buenos Aires and Nagoya.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I like most genres, but especially electronic music: Trance, Tech Trance, House, Breaks, Drum and Bass, Chillout etc.

Movies - Again, I like most genres and watch films from the 70s to the present day. My favourite movies include Dirty Harry, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and The Departed.

Books - I'm into non-fiction stuff like The Naked Ape, The Tipping Point, Fast Food Nation, Freakonomics and Guns, Germs and Steel.
