That's exactly the thing. My current mission is what I'd definitely like to figure out. If we forget the ultimate long-term goals, just now my mission is to travel, and get as much out of life I can. Simple and nice.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Normally it's been host and be hosted. Unfortunately I can't host right now, but I'll be happy to show travellers around and give tips on where to go in Egypt.

I do not use CouchSurfing as a dating site and do not reply to messages of that type.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some experience on organized couch surfing through CS, plenty of experience on un-organized, random how-did-i-end-up-here couchsurfing. Quite happy with the CS option

Good conversations with good people, good silence with good people, good music, good films, good food, good stuff in general. Outdoor activities like hiking and sailing, visiting interesting people and places and learning new stuff.

Somehow ended up surfing the couch of Kazakh border guards on the Kazakh-Turkmen border in the middle of the steppe

Slept several days on the fields somewhere in Northeast Romania without getting a single tick bite
