ABOUT ME

I love traveling, learning new things, adventuring, playing music, and enjoying the company of others. I just got married in April 2010, and am living with my wife at the beach in Asbury Park.

I'm always working on some kind of a project and like to challenge myself - I am very curious and determined.

I am fascinated by observing the intricacies of nature, and am always amazed at how detailed and purposeful it all is.

I wrote a book about America and how hypocritical our modern culture seems to be - in an intelligent and meaningful way of course.

I'm currently working as a freelance music producer, and in the process of planning a year long trip around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too valuable to waste it aquiring money and status. I'd rather spend mine learning about it and serving others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed across the US with a friend in 2005, then my friend became my wife and I became a member of the couch surfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Took a long break from work to drive across the US with my girlfriend. We met some amazing people along the way, and have become convinced that couchsurfing is the way to travel. Since then most of our couch surfing experiences have been across the US and in Costa Rica.

We've been hosting many more people over the last year than we've been couch surfing with, but that will change in a year or so when we begin traveling.

Interests

Travel(of course), surfing (the kind with waves), writing music, producing and recording music, enjoying food, serving others, learning as much as I can, shaping surfboards, studying my parrot, philosophy, painting, photography.

I made it to the top of Kilimanjaro and watched the sun rise over a sea of clouds.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a little about recording and playing music, how to build lots of things you'd normally buy, and a little bit about who god has been in my life.

I want to learn about other people, their travels and the things they are passionate about. I also want to keep learning about the things I already know. I'd also really like to learn how to love everybody.
