ABOUT ME

I am a girl who like to make new friends, learn languages, know new things, go out with friends and talk with people.

I also like to travel, sing, listen to music, watch movies, cook different kinds of food and make handicrafts.

I come from Taiwan, so I speak Taiwanese and Mandarin. Of course I speak English, but I really don't think I am good enough even my major is Translation(Chinese to English and English to Chinese). I learned German coz I was an exchangee of ICYE in Switzerland for a year in 2001/2002. Afterward I keep learning German and I just finish my exchange program in Austria. But I think German is really a difficult language, so my German is still not very good. But at least I try my best to speak it. As I said I like languages, so I try to learn different languages like Spanish, French, Italian and Czech. Although I couldn't speak those languages at all, but they are really cool.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to smile, make new friends and talk with people — but I especially like to help people who need help. I grew up in a Christian family, and I appreciate my parents’ kindness and open-mindedness. I realize that there is more happiness in giving than in receiving.
Life is a gift from God, we should use our time well and enjoy our lives.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew CS from friends who are already the members of CS. I also heard a lot of fun things and nice experiences. I found that everyone who join CS is so nice and open-minded. I hope I can know more friends through CS and help people who likes Asian cultures especially Taiwan.
