Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly hosting, maybe this will equal out as we travel more. We've surfed mostly in the states.

We've met heaps of people through couchsurfing - some good friends whom we've met up with multiple times in different countries... even a past roomate!

Interests

Like to get the hands dirty. Love running, cabbage, watermelon, DREAMING.... hunting hogs, cycling, scything. Microbe husbandry and making vital soil. Self sufficiency & communities that support each other.We like MAKING AND EATING FOOD, biodynamic wines.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Pulsing rhythm, humid, heated dancing.

Warm wind, sailboats, & jean booty shorts.

Teach, Learn, Share

Energy efficiency & retrofitting. Composting methods and general gardening. Breeding microbes and making new earth. I can teach you how to duck hunt and clean animals. Want to learn how to make Kimchi?David ran a bicycle cooperative in Colorado Springs - I enjoy teaching others how to repair, maintain, and build bicycles.Whole foods... I love to cook meals from the cuisines of Thailand, Northern India and now the great comida tipica de Panama...recipes are poetry emitting the true savory secrets of love... for food ;) I make a number of fermented beverages like ginger beer, coconut kefir, and KombuchaNeed help in the garden?
