Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Actually I don´t have any Couchsurfing experience, but I do have some Hospitalityclub experience and both organizations have nearly the same structure and goals.
I stayed one week with a very nice and uncomplicated host, in the region Röhn in Hessen, Germany. I did a hang gliding course there and I often went out of the house before he even got up (6:30 am for example) and returned late. He gave me a key to his house so this was no problem. Without the help of my host I would have missed the great experience to do the course, because I could n´t afford to sleep at a hotel.
I also stayed one night at Neuruppin (near Berlin) and the host was very nice too. I and an friend of mine were on a bicycle tour to Berlin and we arrived late, but our host even made fried eggs and bacon for us. In the next morning he helped me to repair my bike.
So my experiences with Hospitalityclub were very good and I expect to make similar experiences with Couchsurfing.
If you wonder why I signed up at Couchsurfing when I already was a member of Hospitalityclub, visit their website. It is down very often and that is extremely bothering if you want to make a journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I´m sorry to repeat myself but the most amazing thing I´ve done in my life was to fly in a hang-glider.
