ABOUT ME

I have been on four long-term travel adventures the first one was 17 years ago, and every 4 to 5 years since then. Each were very different experiences in different corners of the world. It seems the older I get, the more interesting people are, and I want to know them all!!!

PHILOSOPHY

There is something to learn from every person and something that every situation can teach me . . . if I just allow it to happen. Also, never underestimate the power of a smile !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started Couch Surfing many years ago,and I have always enjoyed surfing, hosting, and connecting with others. It is great to share thoughts and experiences with others, including those who enjoy travelling as much as I do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently retired and I am loving the freedom that affords me. I am trying out house sitting (which is really pet sitting) as a way to get to know different locales.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy travelling independently and hope I can share that enthusiasm and spirit with others.
I continue to try learning Spanish, and will do so till the end of time! It doesn't come easily to me, but I just keep at it . . .
