ABOUT ME

I have grown up just outside of Philadelphia and love it. I am currently finishing up a degree in environmental science at Drexel University and working at the Philadelphia Water Department with the watershed sciences group. I commute a little under 30 miles on my bike everyday between school work and home.

I have done a lot of conservation work with turtles, both fresh water turtles and sea turtles. Love it. I have recently gotten into sailing tall ships and plan on doing this when I graduate. I am in love with stars and constellations, but unfortunately do not see many in the city.

I get interested in and want to do just about everything I see or hear about, it keeps me excited about life. I love hiking and backpacking and just about anything adventurous. And I try to stay healthy and in shape. I excercise, I'm vegan and I don't drink or smoke.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not entirely sure, I suppose. I just started this because I love traveling and I love people who help me out while I am traveling. So I would like to return the favor if I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't delt specifically with Couchsurfers yet, but I've done my fair share of traveling around and staying with people I have met along the way.

Interests

Right now I am trying to learn how to identify tree species. Tomorrow it will probably be something else. I'm also in the process of trying to make a fire without a match. It hasn't worked yet. haha.
