About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Now that I have seen some of the gorgeous world and places, I want to show others my home town =)

ABOUT ME

Am home now after 7 months abroad. Spent 2 months in Sth Africa, 5 months in EUROPE!

It was my first time travelling by myself abroad, so I am very new not only to staying in hostels, but to the general way of living life as a backpacker. I loved every minute of travelling, including the ups and downs, but I am poor and exhausted and ready to host others now!

Now work my butt off to save for another trip

PHILOSOPHY

I love making people happy. I am extremely hospitable, and will always try my hardest to make people feel welcome in my home. I am the mothering type who will think of everything to try and make you happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As we were discussing on my first night of couchsurfing, this website is almost like a way of putting faith back into mankind. We can learn to trust our safety with complete strangers, and hope that they will look after us. And that is how I will choose to participate. Any thoughts?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed with some awesome people in Romania and Germany (thanks guys!)

Seeing as I didnt pay for accommodation in Sth Africa, you could say I coursurfed there (possibly different though because it was my family I stayed with!)

Hosted a few people from Germany for some months, as well as a few others here and there.

Interests

Cooking, reading cook books, being extremely busy, exercising, rockclimbing, having a good time (probably goes without saying). Im always up for a night in the city or a casual barbeque with some friends. I love meeting people, socialising and making best friends everywhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

MY 7 MONTH TRIP! Right now living life in transit is one of the best experiences I've had. It was something special and to be appreciated. Now that I'm home I can share my stories, and then host other people doing the same thing in my home town!

Teach, Learn, Share

Watch this space... Ill need more internet cafe time to think about this one!
