About Me

CURRENT MISSION

the shortest distance between two people is laughter.

ABOUT ME

I took a big chance on life and love and came to europe last summer on a one way ticket. My girlfriend and I came together to amsterdam, but she got a job so we both spent the winter in Germany. I in Berlin and She in Hannover.
Now we are traveling around for a few weeks before going back home.
We are walkers and explorers. We love good food, art, books, cheap wine, graffiti, weather, good people, and new places to get lost in. Fun Fun Fun.....
Ive done most of my european travel through couchsurfing and have made many friends that I will know for the rest of my life.
I try to be an overly respectful guest in other peoples homes. Tidy, generous, and helpful. Maybe I can draw a picture for your refrigerator or bathroom.

PHILOSOPHY

Finding something you love to do, and doing it for the rest of your life. I love many, many things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered CS just before coming to europe. Have met so many great and cool people everywhere I go. Hosts and other travelers. They are the best people in the world. Learned to juggle from my hosts in berlin!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was 19 and down on my luck I couchsurfed at a friends house and ended up living there for over a year. Even then, couchsurfing led me to meet the best people I have ever known, and have the most fun I have ever had.

Interests

drawing, painting, wood carving, watercolor, poetry, art history, good food, color theory, reading, hiking, drawing, socio-political conversation, good natured philosophical discussion, collaborative art.

Music, Movies, and Books

Authors:Cormac McCarthy, Kurt Vonnegut, Thomas savage, John Steinbeck, Bill Hicks, Gary Snyder. Music: Art Pepper, Horace Silver, Miles Davis, Aesop Rock, TOOL, Deltron...I like everything. Just good sincere music, no matter what the style.
Painters: Vermeer, Velasquez, Rembrandt, Sargent, Dali, Corot,Scheile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Monterey Bay, Big Sur, Castle Rock, Kyoto, Tokyo, Zion national park, Bryce canyon, Maui, Kauai, Kalalau valley, Hoh rain forest, Deception pass, Apline lakes in the Cascade range, Mount Rainier,
Kauai and kyoto are my favorite places in the world. So old and so beautiful and spiritual. A-mazing! You should go there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know that I can learn alot from everyone. I just try to listen and let people share their hearts and minds. I truly love drawing; and I love to teach people how easy it is. Reminding them to simply open their eyes and give due time to each work.
Art and philosophy are one. A persons personality, and mind set, cannot be hidden in their creations.
