Über mich
CURRENT MISSION
To save the world (or at least die trying)
ABOUT ME
Just trying not to get locked in a mental institution.
Keeping eyes wide open not to miss any tiny bit of absurd this world has to offer.
Searching for the right words to describe what I see.
Struggling with myself when it comes to eating Polish lard.
I never get bored. I always make plans. I usually don't follow them.
I prefer tulips to roses.
PHILOSOPHY
Let the world change you, then start changing it yourself
Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I joined CS with my friends in April 2007. We shared the same profile and had a hell of a great time with our international guests in Wroclaw. Unfortunately time goes by and my friends had to go back to Krakow. Because of that I'm opening a new CS chapter and starting once again - hellooo CouchSurfers! :) My CS experience is highly positive. Thanks to this project I met some wonderful people and lived incredible moments. Greets to all of you guys!!!

Musik, Filme und Bücher
Cinema is my second home and movies are my biggest addiction. My heros: Hitchcock, Polanski, Cohen brothers, Altman, Lynch, Bertolucci, Jarmusch, De Palma, Burton, Haneke, Kieslowski, Almodovar, Gatlif.
Movies I love vary from 'Singing in the Rain' to 'Fight club' - I really couldn't pick one favorite.
Writers I admire: Balzac, Hesse, Kafka, Mann, Steinbeck, Atwood, Faulkner, Rilke, Woolf, Kapuscinski
'Music is one of the few things that can change everything about a day without actually changing anything at all' - nicely put
My music interests usually depend on my mood, though I'm always up for some jazz. Can't get enough of good alternative rock too. And couldn't survive without some old pricks like Jimi, Janis, Paul, John...
Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe
It happened once in Bhubaneswar (Orissa, India). We went out for a dinner to one of those dark orissian dens where one can eat great food and sip some cheap bourbon (perhaps in different order...) We were led by a strangely unstable smiling waiter to a small, messy hole with no windows. We were told it's not a good time to eat because it's drinking time for locals and locals don't like to be disturbed. So we sat down feeling somewhat uncomfortable. But being hungry as we were we decided to wait patiently for biryanis to arrive. While we sipped our lassis a huge rat came out of the closet in our little prison cell sized room. I screamed and my boyfriend called the waiter. The guy came without rushing, looked at the animal, said: "Ah, yes sir, it's our rat". "He lives there" - he added and left the room.
