ABOUT ME

I grew up in Colorado and have a huge soft spot for the mountains and the great outdoors. I spend as much time as I can hiking, camping, rock climbing, snowboarding, and kayaking. When I'm not outside I spend my time working as a counselor, currently with high school kids. I lived in Seattle for about 6 years and although I loved the city life, I'm glad to be back to my roots of Colorado. I'm friendly and outgoing, laid back and easy to get along with. I love to try new things, meet new people and just have a good time.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that when I'm old and gray and look back on how I spent my life, the thing I will value the most, more than the things I have accomplished, will be the relationships I have made and the experiences I have had.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to offer my services as a tour guide of Greeley CO(or surrounding area). I won't let you miss out on any of the important places to see or things to do. I like to spend time outdoors so if you need ideas of places to go or a tour guide I would love to help.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have unofficially couch surfed with many people as well as hosted many guests at my house. I love to show people around my city and make a great tour guide.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2007 I backpacked around Europe for almost 2 months and saw a huge part of the world that I was missing. I finally climbed Pikes Peak and plan to continue adding to my list of 14ers next summer. In 2010 I traveled to China with friends for a few weeks which was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach people how to ski or snowboard, rock climb, or really any of the outdoor sports I have listed. I would like to learn more Spanish.
