About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world and its sorroundings...

ABOUT ME

I consider myself: multi-cultural, multi-faceted and open-minded. Growing up in different environments made me be like that.
I'm generally laid back and outgoing.
Because I don't deal too well with the routine, I enjoy new and eclectic experiences.

I am always willing to learn from and about other people.
I love travelling, experiencing different places and meeting people from all different backgrounds and the way they live. That´s the main reason why I participate in CS.

The most important to me is tolerance, I don´t support fanatism or violence of any kind.
I will stand up for any person or organization that works in benefit of human rights, peace in the world, women and children rights, or projects (like CS) that promote the friendship among nations and the cultural exchange.

PHILOSOPHY

1.-Freedom. The most precious treasure a human being can have.
2.-Life is an adventure that is worth to be lived. Make the most of each of your days.
3.-Fanatism, not matter what kind, is the most harmful illness of society.
4.-Attraction law. Whatever you give, you receive. Whatever you fear, it comes to you.
5.-Tolerance. Willing to learn about other cultures will give you a wider vision and understanding of the World. Definitely the key to make it a better place to live for all of us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have travelled about 20 countries by surfing couches.
I have hosted couch surfers in all the different cities that I have lived at.
I participate in meetings and activities organized by CS members everytime I can.
Once in a while I also organize events for my CS community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Let´s put it this way, my life before and my life after Couchsurfing. CS project has completely changed my vision about travelling. I was always a little worried everytime I got to a new city specially if travelling on my own or if I did not speak the language, to have difficulties to get around or to get into dangerous places without knowing it. And the most important, I did not want to visit a city or a country and missing its real essence and its culture which is what always interest me the most, the way people really live there. By staying with and getting to know locals I feel that I have a lot more possibilities to get involved into the culture even if stay just a short time and not simply make a touristic visit of the place.
I have met tons of great people through couchsurfing who have made my life and travelling experiences a lot richer and I have friends I can count on in many different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two images that I will never forget in my life. The sunrise while overflying the Grand Canyon on a helicopter and Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica making an eruption at night. Magic!
