About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travel INDIA...and never come back.

ABOUT ME

We're 27, and born and raised in Calgary (this doesn't mean we're hicks).
A good way to describe us would be: same same, but different (as I learned in SE Asia) :).

'People are our favorite hobby'. We have a sincere interest in all people, their backgrounds, and their life stories. Be prepared for a million and one questions - probably the types that others may not think to ask!

We're the product of a former musician(re:eclectic & wonderfully nuts), Lebanese father who was born and raised in West Africa, and a British army brat, nun-raised Catholic mother whose shunned religion, materialism, and has the dryest wit ever. It makes us open minded, non judgemental, and maybe even a little bit quirky. Growing up the way we did definately gave us a sense of humour, a passion for travel, and learning, and a curiosity about everything outside of our own bubble.

We're good friends to our friends, and like to treat our Couchsurfers similarly. We'll always make the effort to show around our surfers and take them around the city when we can.

PHILOSOPHY

-If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

-Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try our best to be good hosts, and help out surfers/visitors as much as we can.
We also try to not use up someone's space and be useless houseguests while surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Done more hosting than surfing, and it's always been 100% positive.
