I have hitchhiked over 500,000 kilometers throughout the world. I enjoy meeting new people, and experiencing new places. Then I met Danka, and now we are a married couple living in Krakow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now couchsurfed several times and have each time had a wonderful experience! Also, over the years I've been invited in by people who have picked me up while hitching... And, I have helped other travelers, when they have needed it. The kindness of strangers, it's what keeps this old world a livable place!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have hitchhiked Africa from top to bottom, and all the way around Australia. But, for me the most amazing thing, is how wonderful people truely are, in contrast to what the media says!
