About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the world and make friends abroad

ABOUT ME

I am a 20 year old college student currently traveling abroad. I love seeing new places and being exposed to new ideas. I am currently studying International Relations and hope to one day be a lawyer.

PHILOSOPHY

My approach to life can be summed up in a single quote:
What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.
-Pericles
Thus, I hope to have a positive impact on as many people as I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not yet been able to host anyone on my couch because I am traveling currently. I hope to be able to couch surf in a variety of locations and extend the same invitation to people that I meet along the way. I want to be able to host people when I return to Los Angeles

Interests

Music, Photography, Skateboarding, Surfing, Snowboarding, Futbol, Languages, International Relations, Traveling. "I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it." - Pablo Picasso

Music, Movies, and Books

There are two types of music to me Good and Bad, but I love Hip Hop, Reggae and Jazz the most..."One thing 'bout music when it hits you feel no pain..." I like many different movies. However, they are to numerous to name the all here are some of my favorites
City of God, Memento, Fight Club, Chinatown, The Usual Suspects, Do the Right Thing, Enter the Dragon. Two of my current favorite books are 1984 because of its relevance to the United States, and Guns, Germs and Steel because it attempts to explain how we arrived at the current point in history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Working for a company called TOMS Shoes, I was able to donate 1000 pairs of shoes to poor kids in Argentina. It was the first pair of new shoes that some of these kids had ever received. This was a life changing experience and solidified my feelings that there are things more important than profit. I would recommend if you are ever in Argentina, TOMS Shoes always needs volunteers. www.tomsshoes.com

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach someone how to skateboard and snowboard. Also, I am a fairly good cook, and am interested in learning how to make the regional cuisine of the countries I visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Peru

Countries I’ve Lived In
