About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm lucky enough to have a job that lets me travel. It's addictive... on my time off, I still continue to travel! I just want to keep exploring and my goal is to have visited 30 countries or more before I turn 30 (that's in like, 4 years... whoa!)

ABOUT ME

When i go somewhere, I like to really engage with the locals and see and do what the locals do. I HATE sightseeing... it's too passive for me! I mean it's ok if you are in big cities but I like activity and adventure... I have a hard time sitting still for too long...

PHILOSOPHY

I pretty much live by the golden rule... Do unto others as you would have other do unto you... It's a good one!

I also believe that travel is good for the soul. It opens your eyes and makes you appreciate all the things you have in your life when you finally do put your bags down and sit still for a moment! It quiets my head, fills my heart, and inspires my soul.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In my travels I have been very fortunate to meet a lot of kind and fun people, and have learned a lot from them. I think through traveling we sort of learn to rely on the kindness of strangers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm... wow there's lots of amazing things I have seen and done in my lifetime. I guess the most recent one would be spending the night in the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert in Morocco and waking up to see the sun rise in the Sahara... along with the sandtorm I experienced while trekking on my camel :-) That and completing the W circuit in Patagonia's Torres del Paine National Park (Chile) all by myself!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Morocco, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Chile, Italy, United States
