I guess I'm a pretty easygoing person, really like meeting people and hearing their stories, swapping tales and advice and laughter. Love being outside, working or playing, especially when it involves rivers and kayaks or canoes. I'm also a big fan of traveling and exploring new places. Any questions, just ask!

Surfed all over and hosted folks in Alaska, really looking forward to surfing around Europe and Australia someday.

Interests

Paddling or climbing, hiking or xc skiing, jumping from high places into water, artistic tile and stone layouts, building things (anything)woodworking classic and obscure good movies, hitchhiking, motorcycles, cooking good food, learning how to fly a plane, conversations that last until the sun comes up, listening to live music, hearing people's stories. Oh, and CLIMBING TREES!

Mostly foreign, or black and white, specifically Le Cercle Rouge (the red circle), Pan's Labyrinth, Wages of Fear, Some Like it Hot, Neuvos Reinas (nine queens)

Rock, folk/celtic (especially when mixed with rock), just about anything other than violent ridiculous rap.

Roald Dahl is hands down my favorite author, and for the last couple years I've been on a Scandinavian crime/mystery novel kick... Henning Mankell's Kurt Wallander series, Arnaldur Indridasson, Karin Fossum, and Yrsa Sigurdurdottir. Also Neil Gaiman, Bill Bryson, Kurt Vonnegut, the list goes on
