About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be devoted and engrossed on the task at hand.

ABOUT ME

I am good-natured, open, and enjoy listening to what others are passionate about. I spent a few years traveling and exploring after college, and am trying to settle down for a bit and devote myself to something higher.
RIght now I am living in San Francisco, and trying to enjoy a lot of what the city has to offer. I work two jobs. One is doing business development and managing an international yoga company, called AcroYoga. The other is working at a coworking space for organizations that focus on social enterprise and positive change in the world, called the Hub.
Before San Francisco I was living and working for eight months at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA. It is a non-profit oriented towards promoting healthy lifestyles, conscious living, and yogic philosophy. The community has been fantastic, and it has certainly changed the way i exist in the world.
I grew up in Atlanta, and the last time I lived there was doing work for a couple environmental companies. One retrofitted buildings for energy efficiency and the other sold carbon credits and provided sustainability consulting.

PHILOSOPHY

Transcend and evolve. Always trying to improve myself and learn new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couchsurfing roadtrip across the United States from October to December of 2009. Excellent trip and met some fantastic folks.

I have hosted maybe ten times or so in Atlanta. Right now the place I am living in San Francisco does not have enough space to host couchsurfers, but I want to try to stay in the community by being open to meeting up with people and showing them around the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Really positive. The people that I have hosted have been lovely, and everyone I have stayed with have been great people and wonderful hosts.

Interests

Playing music, being outdoors, hanging out with friends, reading, yoga, climbing, and listening to music.
