ABOUT ME

We're both 26, married for a few years, and have ditched our NYC corporate lives to travel the United States by RV. We've spent the past 18 months in California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Israel, Texas, and Oregon. Ayo's a dancer and is really into volunteering, Yair is a climber ans astronomer and we're both interested in just about everything!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love hosting and we hope to experience surfing on all types of couches during our traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CouchSurfing has been such a fun, positive experience and our Couchsurfing guests have been wonderful! A favorite: I'm a BIG chocolate fan and one of our recent surfers even brought us French chocolates! YUM.

It's also fun for us to share our NYC experiences and knowledge with other folks, so if you're in town, we'll try to point you to some cool restaurants or free cultural events.

Music: Everything from Bach to Arch Enemy to Nightwish to Yngwie
Books: Voracious reader here. If it has text I love it.
Movies: I admit I'm lacking here. (We don't have a TV - intentionally)

Ayo -
Music: Everything is great, though I grew up on popular music and love anything with a beat that I can dance to.
Books: Geisha: A Life, A Thousand Splendid Suns, Bringing Down the House, Four Hour Work Week, All Sorts of Stuff though Yair reads much more than I do
Movies/TV: Anything and everything. I'm hooked on Glee and House.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Yair can deadlift super-big weights. Ayo can dance, like, CRAZY good.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ayo: I can teach dance, yoga, film editing, foreign language (Spanish - intermediate, Arabic - intermediate, Hebrew - advance) and professional stuff (e.g. resume-building, interview skills)

I would love to practice any of the languages listed above and learn all sorts of active things, from breakdancing to boating, etc.

Yair: (Ayo writing for him) Yair rocks at astronomy, climbing, guitar, history and science/skeptic reading and trying new things. He recently got into gymnastics and loves a good conversation.
