About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Study some more and then find time to travel!

ABOUT ME

Linguistics masters student in Edinburgh. Erasmus type of person, if you know what I mean ;)
Easy-going and relaxed, I enjoy chatting a lot, from the most random topic to the most serious. I like learning from others, and I'm willing to help whenever I can.

PHILOSOPHY

"For those who understand you, no explanation is necessary, for those who don't, none will do" - Jerry Lewis

"Definitions belong to the definers and not the defined"
... - Toni Morisson

"There are no facts, only interpretations" - Nietzsche

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually host friends and friends of friends. I would like to be able to participate more lively in the hosting part of CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed in Norway, and usually I surf on friends' or on friends' of friends couches

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Metal, Rock (Therion, Amorphis, Dark Tranquillity, Epica, Trobar de Morte, Narsilion, Led Zeppelin, Ronnie James Dio, Rainbow, to name just a few.)

Movies: Donnie Darko, Trainspotting, Amelie, The Man from Earth. Avid fan of the cinema.

Books: various stuff from various genres and periods: Edgar Allan Poe (short stories and poems; Berenice is a favourite), Poetry and Literature (especially the Renaissance), Robert Frost, William Blake and Johne Donne. John Milton as well.
Lately I've been reading books like Dawkins's 'The God Delusion' and Singh's 'Big Bang'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going on erasmus, that is on an exchange programme. I met some of the best and craziest people of my life and expanded my way of seeing things.

Going on a roadtrip in Norway, from top to bottom, staying in the most random places, hiking all the way up to Geirangerfjord.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can certainly teach you Greek and a little bit of Spanish. I will be happy to share whatever interesting story/fact comes up. I enjoy learning about other languages and about pretty much everything that people have to share. I would love to learn Swedish or Finnish (even though I'm aware of the big task this is).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Greece, Spain, United Kingdom
