ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing, open-minded and love to meet people from different places or countries. I studied marine ecology and working in environmental education and communication. Feeling myself a very deep connection with nature, I want to help connecting people with nature.
I have a different relationship with the word job than most of the people I know. What I do is what I love and what I am, so it doesn't normally feel like a "job". I don't believe in retirement. I want to be retired all my life, which is doing what I love to do.
I'm doing some filmmaking to bring awareness about social/environmental issues, document nature, people and science.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted in Victoria many many times! Or showed the little jems of the city for people just passing by. At this point with the new house and our little boy, we can't host anymore. It's really busy and we don't have much space!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had the chance to host a lot and everytime it's a unique experience with unique people. I love it. People you wouldn't meet normally enter into your life! It feels like travelling.

I couchsurfed once in San Francisco and it was a great experience! I love to travel this way!

This is all about sharing and meeting people!

Backpacking, play music (saxophone/sing), sailing, diving, camping, surfing, hiking, biking to enjoy the landscape.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Have been to the Antarctic for a field course and the Arctic to work on an icebreaker the same year (2009). And it wasn't planned. Still can't believe how things are unfolding in my life.

I'm the one motivating people, very positive, trying to bring joy in other people's life.

I've been told I was a "connector". Connecting people with other people or projects that I feel they might be drawn to. I listen to my inner voice for that and it creates amazing things! Tell me who you really are and I might have some flashes/suggestions...

I have a good sense of humor. I don't take life too seriously.

I'd love to learn more about photography, filmmaking, creative writing, international development, and sustainability practices.
