ABOUT ME

I'm hyper, talkative, friendly, open and honest. I have a lot of good friends in Hong Kong (and around the world) all from different walks of life even if we share the same interests and mindset. I like getting stuck into philosophical conversations but am equally comfortable to talk absolute bollocks and have a laugh. I dont take myself too seriously...I do my best to live in the now and I totally dig meeting new people and learning more about who I am sharing this planet with! I am well into wakeboarding, diving, cooking, snowboarding, dancing, photography, chilling and reading...

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted about 25 people while in HK, not all at once, of course! Hosted a few times in Tokyo, and even became good friends with the CSers I met up with there. I have surfed once, with PET in Davao (Philippines) which was a wonderful experience. Now I don't have much of a space to offer but when I have time I would like to participate. I have been lousy with checking my mail, so will do my best to check more often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, so good. I learned about couchsurfing when I ended up surfing a couch, unintentionally, in Siem Reap, from there its been from one lot of cool stories to the next.

Intereses

I am a PADI certified diver, advanced level, I am a fantastic cook...love to cook, I love to dance, the things that get me going are: motocrossing, although I don't do it much anymore, wakeboarding, snowboarding, yoga and meditating! Lol. I enjoy writing as well. Oh and I love photography!

Cant come up with only one...I am way to verbose for that! Diving with sharks in Layang Layang, swimming with giant Mantas in the Maldives, diving a shipwreck in Bali, the lack of a need for a wetsuit in the warm waters of Anilao, the whole experience of learning to dive in Panama, wakeboarding in Hong Kong on a clear day, the view from the top of the tallest temple at Angkor, the beach in Langkawi, riding the train in India, seeing the proof of amazing mathematical calculations at the Taj Mahal, the amazing BBQ'd seafood in Koh Samui...and I intend on seeing so much more before they lay me down to sleep! As Jimmy Cliff sang...I've got many rivers to cross...

Enseña, aprende, comparte

Like attracts like. If you a negative person, sh*t happens. If you are a positive person, you know you'll survive anything. Life is about taking responsibility for yourself, about making your own mistakes and about learning not to be too frikken hard on yourself. Be kind to others, you will definately get it back tenfold...maybe not from the same person, but you'll get it back nonetheless. That said, give without hoping to get anything in return. Keep your head on your shoulders, never think you are better than someone else just by looking at them, you never know how they can surprise you. Judge not lest you wanna be judged too. Hugs are free and they make people happy! Love your folks even if they were not the best parents by your standards...they only did the best they knew. Forgive when you can...and try bloody hard when you find it impossible to...its important to let go if you want to be free. Anger and hatred are like a poison to your body, they will manifest in physical ways if you are not careful, so learn to be at peace. Not everyone thinks like you do...so dont expect folks to mind read if you dont open your mouth and communicate. Be kind to yourself...its the least you can do...it will make you less of a jerk to others!
