ABOUT ME

A polite and considerate guy, I know what is fair, and what is fun. I am a bike nerd, well really a mechanical engineering want to be. I have a degree in painting and philosophy...I am no intellect, but I can argue about pomo and existentialism if the time arrises. I LOVE dogs...especially the fat lab variety. I am active, but stray away from activism...socialism I have never really grasped all that tightly. eating; while traveling it is hard to eat well, so if we meet while im on the road, i most likely will offer to cook you (me) something ;) . Even though I am inharently shy, I just love to meet people, and always approach things optimistically.

PHILOSOPHY

agnosticism i suppose. I have a bit of an issue with a monotheistic...or really any religion that uses imagery.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

helping weave a bit I guess. It is a sensible thing, couchsurfing, more than just finding a place to stay, it brings people not onl closer, but out of there shell. (im a turtle btw)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

red deer was nice, as well stayed with a great couple in edmonton once. Other than that I don't have a whole bunch of cs experience...mostly toured on bikes and met people along the way. Lille was fun with Giom and Evon (sp?), and now im here in toronto, and 2 for 2 meeting great hosts.

Interests

art, building bicycles, or anything for that matter, inventing/engineering things on napkins, my puppies, and friends of course, riding bikes, writing music, other cultures and their philosophies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

skinny dipped in Marseille, and then slept on a nearby roof. Lost 700 dollars street gambling in Paris, and then were told they would kill us if we didn't get the hell away from them. drank a bottle of wine and fed swans at versailles. have seen man bears and moose. stayed at jamie james'!

make sure your knees are always directly atop your toes. and don't forget to pretend you are crazy now and then, especially in front of crazy people, it turns out you are usually both saner than you appear.
