I'm down to earth and down for the earth.
I have a love for bikes, mine is equipped with a basket. Love baskets on bikes.
As much as I love the city life, I like the peacefulness of the lone outdoors. Camping and hiking are in my future.

I still have a lot of wandering to do and know that along the way I will develop into the future Tori with every experience shaping me on my journey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to spread the word about couch surfing as much as possible. I plan to participate more in the future when traveling is more practical for me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first heard about couch surfing through a friend. We went to a free hugs event in Chicago and it was amazing. I have never done anything like that before and was amazed at the impact it had on me.
I also went to a potluck in Chicago and met a lot of interesting people with insightful travel stories.
I have never surfed or hosted but I was at a friend's house that hosted someone from Germany. The night was filled with homemade pasta and delightful conversation.

I love books, I am a bibliophile.

I plan to exercise my love for travel. I am interested in solo travel and like the challenge and adventure it offers.

My 35mm gets dusty from time to time, but I do enjoy taking some photos the old fashioned way. Black and white are the way to go.

As far as movies, music, and books go I don't have any favorites. I am open to almost any music and enjoy finding new tunes. Books are my biggest collection. I love going to used book stores and finding random dusty pages of information. Vintage books are the best.

Free hugs event. A free-spirit emerged from me and that event has inspired me and my travels ever since.

I am anxious to expand who I am as a person through my experiences and the great people I meet along the way with CS.
I have heard so many radical stories from other people who have surfed and hope my adventures will create unforgettable stories and provide me with insightful memories.
