ABOUT ME

I'm really easy going and like to have fun and do 'off the beaten track' sort of things - especially while travelling! I enjoy the usual sports, but recently picked up Ultimate Frisbee, which is one of the best sports I know! I like to hike, enjoy a fine meal, and go to the show on occasion. LOVE art, photography, innovative and challenging music - of all sorts, you can check out myspace for that side of me ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short, but you tend not to notice when you occupy yourself with good company, good times and good food!

I like people who are honest and forthcoming. Sad are those with 'hidden agendas' and false pretenses because I'd like to believe I have none myself, so why should you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed with my relatives in Italia!.. although that may not really be classified as 'couchsurfing' as it is here, but as close as you can get I suppose.. ;)

Again, myspace will tell all.. but basically, the music I'm into includes: alt-rock, electronic-ambient, lounge trip hop, progressive rock (the experimental psychadelic stuff), goth, classic punk, new wave (not so 'new' anymore), some industrial, celtic, folk, and of course classical.
Books: love the fantasy genre (George RR Martin and Steven Erikson come to mind), environmental stuff as well.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-Parachuting over Georgian Bay at sunset (the brilliant colours and view are forever engrained in my mind)
-the Contiki travelling experience (saw lots of great places, met some of the most interesting people, some of which I've been friends with ever since)
-seeing Sigur Ros & GY!BE in concert (absolutely phenomenal)
