ABOUT ME
I'm loving life in Ottawa these days. A good job in finance keeps me planted in one place more or less, but I'll always take time to travel and love to see new places and try new things.
This year, with my trip to Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam, I "broke even" and travelled to the same number of countries as my age -- 25!
hmm, where to start. I am an average Canadian girl, I think. I love my country. I can tell you all about it! I am involved with lots of theatre in my city, including Shakespeare and Gilbert and Sullivan.
I love to travel all over the world, and I like keeping in touch with the friends I meet wherever I go.
PHILOSOPHY
To start every day with a good attitude, work hard and play hard, take it all in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experience was in September of 2007 in Paris with a friend as we were moving to France for school. We had a fantastic time and went to a French birthday party with our host!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The coolest things I've done this year was through our trip to Asia -- I rode an elephant, and went parasailing, went on a hot air balloon ride on valentines day and dressed up like the Dread Pirate Roberts for our Pirate party! I drank sugar cane juice and fed monks in Luang Prabang, snorkled in Nha Trang and organized our group for the pingpong shows in Bangkok! Saw the sunrise at Ankgor Wat, and swam in bright blue pools with waterfalls. Saw the famous water puppets in Hanoi and best of all, escaped the horror of an Ottawa winter with the beautiful Asian heat. That was just one trip! Lots more stories to tell!
