PHILOSOPHY

I want to experience as much as I possibly can in this lifetime. I want to go to amazing places and meet amazing people and believe in the good of people. I want to minimize the harm that I do to this beautiful planet and appreciate this home that I have every day.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf everywhere I go now and have had incredible experiences doing it. I have hosted a few surfers, but I am always hoping for more.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At one point in time I mostly just surfed my friends' couches, but then I found this site and that expanded to the couches of strangers who became new friends. Every single couchsurfing experience that I have had has been amazing. I love being able to experience a place with someone who lives there and I hope that I am able to show people the cool things about the places I live as well.

Movies: Amores Perros, Anchorman, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, High Fidelity, and The Princess Bride.

Music: Anything that rocks really. Right now I'm really into PlayRadioPlay!, Oh No! Oh My!, and any other band with an ! in it's name...M.I.A., Black Francis, DeVotchka, Grandaddy, and Rilo Kiley, Radiohead, The Pixies, The Cure, The Flaming Lips, Ween, ... and on and on and on...

Books: I don't find myself reading a lot these days, but I'm thinking about taking it back up. My favorite books of all time are The Bell Jar, Life of Pi, Ishmael, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Lord of the Rings series, and The Dark Tower series by Steven King.

I spent almost 6 months of my life on a boat in the ocean...it was incredible and I'd probably sign up for forever at this point!

I guess I know a lot about computers, a little about French and a little about cooking. I have a lot to learn about those things and everything else though. I hope to never stop learning.
