we are currently having a year off travelling to South America in a van with our baby girl.

ABOUT ME

We are a couple of young teachers working in high school. We love travelling and furthermore meeting local people when we travel. So far, we've experienced trips in some places in the world like India, Syria, Jordan, Russia, Balkans... Thus, hosting couchsurfers is a way to travel in our everydaylife !

PHILOSOPHY

We had the opportunity to travel abroad a lot for several years up to now, so we are currently thinking about discovering more our country. We've just finished a bicycle trip frome Biarritz to Toulouse with our baby. In the other hand, we try to live in a more close-to-the-nature way and so we are very interested in environmentalist and degrowth theories...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We try to incitate as much as possible anybody to enter CS and speak around us about it.
We recently had the opportunity to help a French guy writing his thesis about CS by telling him about our experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

From the beginning of our CS experience we have hosted people and be guests. I won't say that we'll keep in touch with everybody , nor that everytime has been wonderful, but anyhow every experiences has been a good opportunity to think about our differences around the world through different cultures and way of life. And I hope we try our best to adapt ourselves and be tolerant.

In fact we are (at least we hope we are) very adaptable people, meaning that we can be very "urban" people in our life-style and tastes, but if the context needs or allows us, we love to be dettached from the material world !
