CURRENT MISSION
Slowly wandering around the world
ABOUT ME
Donna and I travelled round the world for 10 months, experiencing a little couchsurfing along the way--and loved it! We've recently moved to Birmingham for my work. So far we're loving the city, and have managed to find a nice place to live just outside the city.
Donna's from a little island called Jersey, and has probably entertained three quarters of the population at her house! The surf is good, the sun is hot, the people are chilled....
I'm from a little town near the south coast called Winchester. It's a historic town with a beautiful cathedral-always a good one!
PHILOSOPHY
Having been a stressed out commuter I now know life is too short for all that, and vow to take life as it comes without all that pointless stress. Work to live...and all that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CS is all about being part of a community. I understand that this means it's about giving as much as receiving. I want others to know about CS, and will share enthusiastically my experiences with others I think can appreciate the concept without simply just using it when it suits.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Being small has leant me some couch benefits--I can sleep on the smallest of couches!
Having experienced CS as couch surfers, we feel it's time to get some hosting done. We hope we can be as good as some of the people we had the pleasure of staying with whilst on our travels.

Teach, Learn, Share
I like the idea of belonging to a 'community', allowing you to feel really part of something whilst you're a million miles away from home. Couch surfing brings a whole new aspect to traveling, in that even when we get home I know we'll still be able to learn new things from the travellers that we will host.
