Working on a dive boat off the west coast of vancouver island enjoying weekends at home and exploring

ABOUT ME

i spend a lot of my year travelling but usually return home to canada to visit my loved ones and work planting trees or harvesting sea urchins under water living in bush camp or out on the boat on the north coast. I try to base myself out of my home in Courtenay as much as I can but wont be around much to host any travellers until mid summer of 2013. i enjoy music lots all styles especially punk rock and would like to meet travellers into the underground music scene in the places I travel to. I plan to travel to Brazil at the end of my diving season and hope to meet some good people here before I arrive. So if you are travelling in my area of BC and have been to Brazil I would love to have some coffee and discuss.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

currently not too much to the site in particular. though my attitude in life is similar to the ideas of this network and i fully believe in helping travellers with a place to stay and open to new friendships and experiences. time now to give a bit back and hopefully meet some cool people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

nothing organized but ive had many kind people invite me into thier homes as well as helping people ive met in my area with a place to stay or advice on what to do.

Interests

im interested in experiencing the places i travel to and keen to meet local people or people living in the areas i am travelling to. when home giving people an oppurtunity to visit me and take part in whatever im up to at the time giving them an insight to whats going on in my part of the world. always one to take it slow when travelling and build a good idea of the area im in by making friends and seeing the place at a leisuly pace.
