ABOUT ME

I am the only 'Kiwi' - New Zealander in my family. They are all English! I travelled when I was 21, before I had my child, when he is grown up (he is 14 now), I wish to travel again broadly, perhaps for a two year stint in one go and go everywhere I want to go in one big trip. I have wonderful friends and love to see live music concerts/shows etc... Love the movies. I kayak and go to the gym. Like to keep up a good level of fitness. Love understanding new cultures, that is what makes life interesting... We have some wonderful beaches in West Auckland where I live, I like taking my dogs (I have two) out there in winter time the best, when the beach is at its wildest elements!!. Like bush walking as well. Love life, (except when I have to do the home owner chores !! )I seem to be one of the oldies ! on this site, but don't let that put you off. I am very open minded, easy going and have been known to party like a 'young one' !!!.. Cheers

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to help travellers coming to New Zealand. Couch stay & sight seeing. I would like to offer my home and friendship now while I am settled and hopefully in return when it is my turn to do my big travelling it will be returned to me. The idea of making friends through doing this is awesome and would be great to meet people in New Zealand and then to be able to met them again in their own country in the coming years.

Love mostly all movies except horror movies. Love to read I read rubbish fun books and more serious ones. I always have a book or two on the go. Love French movies - comedy, the French sense of humour is awesome.

Seen a two trailer logging truck tip over right infront of me at over 100km, and skid right across the road in the rain. That was very amazing... The driver walked away !!
