ABOUT ME

I have been traveling around for the past few years, while studying in history and sustainable development and working in communications and restauration! I'm very open minded and like to get to know people sincerely, moving past small talks and superficiality.

PHILOSOPHY

I heard one day that happiness was to be able to reduce the gap between who you are and who you want to be. I believe that to be true, so I encourage people around me, as well as myself, to fulfill their dreams and work towards that goal. I also agree with the saying "we never go as far as when we don't know where we go"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because a city or a country will never be discovered and known in the same way if you don't get in touch with the locals. Because making friends around the world makes everything seem closer and united.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Florence and the machine, Edward sharpe and the magnetic zeroes, Gramatic, Cat Empire, Jurassic Five, Atmosphere, The National, Trentemoller, Sublime, Bonobo are just some of my favorite bands and DJs.

Movies: I don't know movies very well, but on the top of my head I remember liking a lot Fight Club, Magnolia, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and movies from Pedro Almodovar. I'm more of a documentary and series person: Six Feet Under, House of Cards, True Detective, Transparent, etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paraglyding, twice, in the Himalayas and on the coast of Turkey. Also sky diving in Canada.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Traveling adventures, original thoughts, reflection about the world and a good laugh! I've been told also to have a very contagious smile!
