About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"If you talk about, it a show. But if you move about it, then it's a go." I'm trying to make it a go.

ABOUT ME

I've got a lot of things I'd like to do. I'm trying to slowly chip away at the list, but oh, for the love of god it is huge. Born and raised here, but the rest of my family is in/from Nigeria. Nigerians are lovely people, some of the smartest and funniest you'll ever meet.

Growing a business. I love it.

Talking to strangers has served me well.

Magazine junkie. Please bring cool magazines.

..

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take it personally: it's probably not about you.
Leave it better than you found it.
Good health cannot be overestimated. Take care of yourselves, people!

The root of all evil? Selfishness. Most definitely.

Music, Movies, and Books

Let's chat.

I love books, but I pick them up at random. I have trouble remembering author names, but the stories stick with me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I was invited to sit around with a bunch of people and spend the weekend thinking. The bunch of people did stuff like...

-start and lead a decades-long national peace movement, or develop new economic models at the world bank
-take a 17-year vow of silence and then walk (you know, with his feet) from the West Coast to Washington D.C. write the regulations for oil spill clean-up after the Exxon Valdez spill
-be Gandhi's grandson. Seriously.

...and other stuff you would not believe. I'd assumed my invitation was a mistake. It was crazy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could share some basics about medicinal herbs. I can show you a super easy, hearty bread recipe. I can help you write ANYTHING.

Teach me about customs in places you've visited. Oh where you live. Or how to make something or fix something. Whatever you've got.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, England, France, Guatemala, Ireland, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago

Countries I’ve Lived In

Honduras, United States
