I don't host for more than 3 days. I get sooooo many requests. Special interest in native Spanish or Portuguese speakers and capoeiristas. Conscious guests who bring in groceries to share or take out their own trash are so appreciated, for example.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I'm not gypsying around, I open my home to curious travelers.
To share the joy of laying down the pack, taking a shower or nap and acquiring tips from localites is life's treat.
When surfing, I love to cook, spend time with hosts if they are interested, or otherwise express gratitude for their willingness to put me up.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've got a home again and might be able to have you- although I am SO busy and don't go out much during the week.
Couple of years ago, I surfed with some true gems in Brasil. Saudade for my CS familia and gaggle of hosts. I've hosted a handful of travelers (through Couchsurfing and random encounters) from Mexico, England, New Zealand, Spain and several states in the US. I also surfed in Hawaii and Arkansas.
One of my best friends was a surfer at my place in Chicago a few years ago. I love CS!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I placed my fingers inside the jaw of a massive gator whilst sitting atop its body. i lifted its head, felt him thrash side to side, heard him hiss and viewed his thick gums and clenched teeth.

In December of 2012, I went on a 1 month end of the world road trip down the coast of Mexico with 2 friends in a 1965 VW bug, rarely exceeding 40 km/hour. No radio...but with a guitar, sandy beaches, epic lake hikes and a Bart Simpson homemade puppet. I landed a chef job in Guatemala and lived there for a year.
