About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"A ship in harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are built for."

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty active - like to do a lot of different things. Also, I'm fairly open-minded and lately have been working really hard to be positive :) Think I have a good sense of humor - at least when I'm in a good mood :)

PHILOSOPHY

Live, love and learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I usually host people - as often as my busy schedule allows. Also, love meeting up with couchsurfers visiting the city and showing them around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed anyone's couch yet, but hope will be able to do that soon.

Interests

Different types of sports: skiing in the winter and biking in the summer. Recently, started to learn swimming. Also, do yoga every (or almost every) morning. Enjoy lawn tennis - i mean enjoy watching it on TV.

Literature: like to read books about different cultures and countries (more of historical genre).

Arts: I'm an amateur (very!) painter - appreciate every opportunity of seeing a new exhibit at different art galleries and museums in Almaty.

Music: The Eagles, Linkin Park, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Otis Redding, Nina Simone.
