Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Big fan of reading. Especialy if the writer is still alive. I get very excited when a new book by Iain McEwan or Kazuo Ishiguro comes out. Love spending time in those book swap places you get in backpacker hang-outs. Probably spend too much time in there, when I should be seeing a temple or something. In terms of music, I have a real soft spot for REM, even though the new stuff is taking a bit of getting used to. Normally into indie music, but bands like Faithless and Rage Against the Machine have forced me to open my mind. Hitchcock is great fun. Loved Rear Window. The Royal Tenenbaums was excellent, but I can't put my finger on why it was so good.

I'm pretty good at teaching English as a foreign language. I don't have a very good qualification, but I've got quite a bit of experience and can plan a lesson for a range of ages. I know the basics of a set shot in basketball. I'm scoring around 7 out of 10 free throws. On a good day.
